The study conducted by the author reveals some issues and practices that need to be considered by everyone in the field of healthcare interpreting. Especially given the recent Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics by the NCIHC. I am curious to hear the thoughts of other professionals in the field about the practices of the interpreters at California Hope and I'm left wondering if this level of visibility exists to such a high degree in other communities.
