This is a great resource for clinicians. Differentiating between medical and psychological disorders is critical in the practice of health care, as they obviously require quite different modes of treatment. Dr. Morrison has formatted his book in a very easy-to-follow style, where each chapter describes a particular medical problem as well as a discussion of the psychological effects that this given medical disorder can produce. This book is a must-have for those practitioners not specifically trained in medicine in order to avoid making the mistake of overlooking a medical condition in diagnosis.
I recommend this book to every health care provider.
