Dr. Mary Coleman and I wrote this book for the practicing physician and well read parent. Some of the genetic information is a little outdated. Most of the specific recommendations for the appropriate care of children with Down syndrome are still very timely. The book has been well received by peers and reviewers. Overall I am pleased to see that most of the material we wrote is still very relevant.
