(More customer reviews)I purchased the first edition years ago when I was preparing for the old NCA Clinical Lab Director certification exam. It served well for that purpose but I also found that it was frequently useful as a reference in my day to day practice. Later I sat for ASCP DLM certification and again, this was just about the only reference I needed in reviewing for the exam. I have recommended this book to others many times since its publication and was delighted to see that a second edition was available. The second edition is updated significantly and lives up to the legacy from the first edition. I highly recommend this very useful resource to anybody currently in a laboratory management position or to anybody who aspires to such a position.
