What I love most about this book is that it is completely based on research (much of which was conducted by the authors). It is a fascinating look at what factors are related to the quality of interactions (such as patient and physician's gender and age), as well as the effects of physician-patient interactions on patient health and satisfaction. I recommend this book for anyone who is interested in this aspect of healthcare communication.
