Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)As a trainee in interventional neurology, I'd have to say this book is "middle of the road." It does have good cases and illustrations. It consists of cases that are shown in a step-by-step manner. There are two reasons I do not give this a higher rating: 1. It is NOT an atlas as one might expect - it does not spend a lot of time on diagrammed anatomy. There are also not a lot of diagrammed angiographic images. 2. Only about half the cases have references.
As far as strengths, the best thing about the book is that all authors describe in detail which device they use and at what point in the procedure.
In summary, this is a nice addition to the library of anyone training in interventional neurology/neuroradiology. It is not really a reference book, and should only supplement other sources.
